Meat No Veg 28 day matured, beef fillet is from prime British cattle breeds reared on grass and corn on selected farms in Scotland. Before it reaches you, our master chefs trim off any excess fat and sinew to ensure your meat is almost fat free and in perfect condition.

Storage and handling

Fridge: Place it in the fridge as soon as you receive your delivery. Place in the coldest part.

Freezer: Freeze as soon as you get your delivery. Defrost completely before cooking. It can be kept for up to four months.

Cooks tips

Meltingly tender, the beef centre fillet is ideal either oven roasted as a complete joint or cut into mouth-watering fillet steaks for fast pan frying. The centre beef fillet is also the best cut to use in the classic British recipe, Beef Wellington. The beef is at its most succulent when cooked rare to medium rare.
