The beef forerib is one of the most moist and succulent matured roasting joints available. For a combination of taste and texture  -  it's glorious. Meat No Veg beef forerib comes from the finest British breeds. They are contented cattle that have been reared grazing on open pastures. Our beef is fully certificated and hung for 28 days to get the best taste sensation possible.

Storage and handling

Fridge: Place it in the fridge as soon as you receive your delivery. Place in the coldest part.

Freezer: Freeze as soon as you get your delivery. Defrost completely before cooking. It can be kept for up to four months.

Cooks tips

This is a big cut of beef and best roasted. Season well with black pepper, salt, and some chopped rosemary, criss-cross the fat with a sharp knife and place in the fridge overnight. Before cooking, allow the meat to reach room temperature for 30 minutes and once cooked cover with foil and allow 25-30 minutes to rest before carving. Serve with roast vegetables, cooked beneath the joint for the last 90 minutes, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of rich gravy for a meal to WOW!
