CARVERY LEG OF LAMB - traditional joint

Complete leg of lamb, cut generously in approx. 2kg (4Ib 6oz) or 3kg (6lb 10oz)

Ethically sourced, the leg of lamb is cut by our master butchers to serve on the bone, expertly prepared for you in the traditional French carvery style. When the bone is left in, the flavour is retained and the meat is given greater succulence because the bone helps the joint to roast evenly in the oven and this enhances the taste.

Storage and handling

Fridge: Place immediately in the fridge and keep covered to avoid any leakage which could cross contaminate cooked foods or any produce that will be eaten raw.

Freezer: Freeze as soon as you get it. Wrap in good quality, heavy duty polythene freezer bags. Label and date and seal well. It’s safe to freeze your lamb joint for 4 - 5 months. Defrost thoroughly in the fridge overnight or at room temperature before cooking.

Cooks tips

Although grilling is possible, this cut is best roasted.
