Barbecued Peppered Steak Recipe


• 4 steaks, 6-8oz/175-225g each

• Black, white, green & pink peppercorns

• Salt

How to prepare

1. Season the steaks with the salt and ground peppercorns - pressing these into both sides of the steaks firmly, so that they stick to the meat during the cooking process.

2. Place the flavoured steaks on the barbecue over medium-hot coals.

3. Cook for about four minutes each side for medium-rare steaks. Cook for a further two to three minutes for medium-to-well-done steaks. Note: Resist prodding the steaks too much as you don’t want to lose the juices onto the hot coals. Instead, you want to sear in the flavour.
